The IPS microplate incubator is a dry incubator designed to heat and maintain a constant and homogeneous temperature inside the wells of a microplate containing a given reaction medium.
- Usable for all microplate techniques
- No water or maintenance required
- Incubation temperature regulated to within 0.5°C
- Capable of holding up to 4 microplates
A temperature sensor is located under the IPS heating plate. A controller connected to this sensor applies a current to an element which heats the plate. The sensor continuously monitors and regulates the temperature.
The cover on the IPS reduces the effect of external parameters on the temperature of the heating plate and on the microplates.
