描述
供 Criterion™ 系统使用的预制胶为 13.3 x 8.7 cm 聚丙烯酰胺凝胶，装在一次性凝胶夹中。 这一凝胶尺寸可通过快速的设置、加载和运行提供可重复的高分辨率结果。
针对 2-D 应用，Criterion IPG 预制胶可容纳 11cm 长度的 ReadyStrip™ IPG 胶条，并带 1 个参考孔用于加入蛋白标准品。与 7cm 的小型 2-D 系统相比，Criterion 系统在第一向分离时聚焦面积多 35％，第二向分离时胶面积多 20％。
可用于双向分离的 Criterion 预制胶有 TGX™、TGX Stain-Free™、Bis-Tris、Tris-acetate 和 Tris-HCl 等类型。
Criterion™ TGX™ 预制胶是创新的聚丙烯酰胺凝胶（ PAGE）系统，保质期长，它具有类似 Laemmli 系统的分离特性，兼容传统的 Tris/Glycine 缓冲系统。TGX 预制胶可在 300V 的电压下保持低温运行，20 分钟内可完成蛋白质的电泳分离。
TGX 凝胶在灌制过程中未添加 SDS，可用于非变性蛋白质电泳，以便对蛋白质的天然构造和活性进行后续分析。在电泳缓冲液和样品中加入 SDS，可运行 SDS 变性电泳。
