Affi-Prep Polymyxin Resin contains 2–4 mg of USP-grade polymyxin per ml of the macroporous polymeric Affi-Prep Support. Affi-Prep Polymyxin Resin binds endotoxins from a number of different strains of gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Salmonella abortus, Salmonella minnesota, and Serratia marcescens.
